It’s gonna be a better mornin’
The sun is shinin’ all the way
I’ve got a feelin’ and I just can’t make it stop
I’m getting’ younger everyday
I throw my worries out the window
I pour my troubles down the drain
I slide across the kitchen floor in business socks
I’m getting’ younger everyday
(chorus)
I used to live inside a circle
Dizzy wastin’ time
Was goin’ ‘round and ‘round and upside down
I was ‘bout to lose my mind
But now I’m swervin’ ‘round the speed bumps
I’m gonna go a different way
All the signs are pointin’ to a better place
I’m getting’ younger everyday
(repeat chorus)
But now I’m jumpin’ off the deep end
I threw the hourglass away
You know I’m gonna give it all I’ve got
I’m getting’ younger everyday
Oh I’m gonna give it all I’ve got
I’m getting’ younger everyday
Ya I’m gonna give it all I’ve got
I’m getting’ younger everyday

There is nothing that feels better than writing a “feel good” song... well, except for maybe one thing. The initial idea for this one came to us at a park bench on top of the Montmarte district overlooking the city of Paris.
When creating lyrics to a song like this, we usually just try to say things to make each other laugh until we stumble on something that actually makes sense. If I remember correctly, at one point the song was heading in the direction of business socks and rocking chairs, I guess that’s the effect that Paris can have on you, if you know what I mean.
It started to rain a little while we were sitting there, probably bad karma for splashing Pepsi on our small audience of wet pigeons. We took a notepad inside the nearest cafe and ordered some crepes. Our lame jokes started taking shape into this timeless classic and BAM!!!!! “Younger Everyday” was born.
