Frankie Moreno’s GHOST IN THE BOTTLE is a hard-driving country-rock album filled with whiskey, and ghosts that have a way of sticking around too long. Blending raw acoustic guitars, tough electric guitars, and Moreno’s signature melodies, the record lives somewhere between a roadside bar and a full-throttle rock ’n’ roll show.
Built around real-life stories and characters, the songs explore love, loss, trouble, redemption, and the things we sometimes try to leave behind – but never quite can. Moreno brings a rock ’n’ roll edge to the heart and storytelling of country music, creating a sound that feels both familiar and entirely his own.
GHOST IN THE BOTTLE is a record made to be played loud—a collection of songs for late nights, long roads, last calls, and whatever ghosts might be riding along.

INSIDE THE ALBUM with Frankie:
GHOST IN THE BOTTLE came from wanting to make a record that felt a little rawer, a little more dangerous, and somewhere between country and rock ‘n’ roll. We wanted lots of guitar, real stories, and songs that sounded like they would work if we played them as a set in a bar.
There’s always been a country influence in what we do, but with this album we leaned into it without trying to make a traditional country record. We kept the rock ‘n’ roll energy, mixed in some Southern grit, and let the songs dictate where everything went. It’s guitar-driven, but still has the melodies and storytelling that have always been a big part of our music.
The title GHOST IN THE BOTTLE really captured the feeling of the whole record. There’s something about whiskey that carries stories with it for us. The good nights, the bad decisions, the people you remember, and maybe a few you’re trying to forget. That became the thread running through the album.
We didn’t want it overly polished. We wanted it to feel like a band playing. Loud, loose, and alive. GHOST IN THE BOTTLE is country, rock ‘n’ roll, whiskey, and a few of our ghosts from along the way.
