Frankie gets his inspiration for songwriting all across the world. He says that by leaving the familiar behind, it opens his mind for creativity. He travels to nearly every continent on the planet looking for new inspiration.
Moreno has been all over Europe, Asia, South America, Central America, Africa, Egypt, and all 50 states in North America. He’s written songs in every country and performed in many of them as well.
“When you wanna clear your head for ideas, there’s nothing like being in a place where everything is unknown.” Moreno says. “The surroundings, the culture, the language…it all makes your head work in a completely different way. I love going to new places, bringing a guitar, and just writing. So many of our songs come from this very formula. If you listen closely enough, you can usually find some very subtle hints in the music of where it was written”.
